Training: Conflict Assessment: Analyzing and Effectively Managing Land and Natural Property Conflicts
The Conflict Assessment Training is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to analyze land and natural resource conflicts. Through in-depth understanding, participants will be more sensitive and able to identify the root causes, triggers, and even prevention of conflicts, conduct comprehensive analyses, and design effective conflict management strategies.
During the training, participants will learn about conflict assessment concepts, including methods and strategies for information gathering to obtain accurate and relevant data. The training will also cover steps in analyzing conflict data and information, from identifying conflict objects and subjects, exploring the history of the conflict and handling steps, to conducting analyses of relevant policies. Moreover, participants will learn how to prepare effective reports—both for internal and external purposes—and develop appropriate follow-up recommendations to support decision-making.
At the conclusion of this training, participants will be able to thoroughly explain and identify the root causes of conflicts, analyze various conflict elements to develop a comprehensive understanding, and design conflict documentation workflows to meet diverse reporting needs. This three-day training offers practical solutions that can be immediately implemented to effectively address conflicts, building a strong foundation for operational sustainability and stability in the field.
