K&L Gates Continues California Growth with Addition of Emerging Growth and Venture Capital Partner to San Francisco Office
10 Desember 2021San Francisco – Global law firm K&L Gates LLP welcomes Jason Putnam Gordon as a partner in the emerging growth and venture capital practice. Gordon joins K&L Gates’ San Francisco office from Polsinelli LLP.
Gordon represents entrepreneurs, emerging growth companies, and investors on matters including venture capital financings, strategic alliances, corporate formations, joint ventures, complex mergers and acquisitions, sales, and divestitures. Gordon concentrates his practice on advising U.S. and international companies and investors primarily in the life sciences and health technology verticals, but also has experience in a wide range of other verticals, including artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, virtual reality, augmented reality, software, hardware, the Internet of Things, and agricultural technology. A former federal law clerk in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Gordon has also litigated a variety of corporate, securities, intellectual property, and commercial matters during his career.

Gordon’s arrival follows the recent additions of San Francisco lawyers Shab Puri (power), H. Thomas Anderton (IP), and David Owen (asset management), as well as San Francisco and Los Angeles partner Eugene Ryu (labor and employment). They are among a dozen new partners and of counsel to join K&L Gates’ California offices since the beginning of 2020, including Helen Kim (securities and transactional litigation) and Mitchell Kim (litigation) in Los Angeles and Daniel Glassman (litigation), Rema Awad (corporate), Mincheol Kim (IP), William Tate (real estate), and J. David Bournazian (litigation) in Orange County, and among nearly 100 new partners and of counsel to join the firm’s global platform during that time.
